TYRES & WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Driven Automotive Will Make Sure Your Vehicle Runs Smooth & Extend The Life Of Your Tyres.

The two critical factors to tyre safety are tread depth and running the correct tyre pressure.

  • Tread helps your car to grip the road when cornering and braking as well as sufficiently dispersing water on the road.

  • The minimum depth of tread is 1.5mm. With longer WOF inspection intervals on vehicles made after the year 2000, more attention is needed to ensure your tyres are still safe to use on our roads. Tyre pressure is dictated by the level of tyre inflation. If the pressure is too high or too low, vehicle handling, comfort and wear are compromised.

If your wheels are out of alignment, it can negatively affect the handling and tyre wear. A correct wheel alignment will improve the lifespan of your tyres and also make for better fuel economy
Some signs that indicate your vehicle may need a wheel alignment are:

  • Pulling to one side

  • Tyres worn on one edge

  • Poor cornering performance
